My name is Madelyn Johnson. I am a natural-light wedding and portrait photographer based out of Northeastern South Carolina.
I launched my business in August of 2020 and have been in love ever since. From the moment I bought my first camera, I knew photography was going to be something I would enjoy, and something I would want to be a part of my life forever.
When I don't have a camera in my hand, you can find me with my dog, Bear, and my husband, Luke. Our love story is my favorite, and I am blessed to have someone like him. He is everything God knew I needed, and has encouraged me to pursue my dreams since the day we met. You may see him assisting at weddings or weekend portrait sessions. If you've been lucky enough to meet him, then you know he has never met a stranger, and can make anyone feel right at home.
I'm also a Registered Nurse working in Labor & Delivery. I am beyond blessed to keep doing what I love, all while pursuing another dream of mine!
To me, photography is far more than just an art form. It's a way to preserve your legacy. And just the honor of doing so gives me all the more reason to not only love what I do, but to feel that behind a camera is where I will always belong.
